Nationals’ Summer Schedule: Must-See Games and More

The Washington Nationals schedule is tough playing in the NL East. They have a difficult road ahead of them after the All-Star break that begins a week from Friday with upcoming home games against teams like the Yankees, Brewers, and Phillies, among others.

The summer is getting hotter than ever at Nationals Park. Whether you are a fan of the Nats or baseball in general, now is the best time to add a bet to your slate. Check out the best sites for online sports betting at Overtime Heroics which includes details on promos, odds, and more.

There are a few critical series left to key in on as the calendar turns to mid-July. With that, let’s focus on August/September series against the Brewers, Yankees, and Phillies, plus the exciting Nats Summer Concert Series happening at Nationals Park. Though we won’t see the Los Angeles Dodgers again this year, things are about to get very hot in the nation’s capital against the beast of the AL East with the Yankees.

New York Yankees vs. Washington Nationals (8/26-8/28). It is always a big deal when the Yankees come to town. The Nats have a tough stretch to close out August, facing the Phillies, Braves, and Yankees in 10 of their last 13 games. That stretch could make or break their playoff chances.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Washington Nationals (8/2-8/4). The Milwaukee Brewers Washington Nationals series could prove to be a pivotal one for the Nats. The Brewers lead a tough NL Central and will be a stiff test. It will also be a great chance to come out of the All-Star break with some momentum.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Washington Nationals (9/27-9/29). The final series of the year. Playing the best team in the National League isn’t ideal but it could be the last opportunity for the Nats to nab a playoff spot.

All of the aforementioned series are against teams leading their division or in the case of the New York Yankees — a clear playoff contender. They also happen to currently have three of the best winning percentages in baseball. It doesn’t get much tougher than that, especially for a Nats team struggling to keep up with the Braves for second in the NL East.

Nats Summer Concert Series. In addition to the Washington Nationals schedule, there is the Nats Summer Concert Series. There are four dates on the slate featuring top acts in music. On Friday, June 7, Flo Rida was in town with a huge crowd for that game. Carly Rae Jepsen follows after the Cincinnati Reds on Friday, July 19. Teddy Swims will be after the Los Angeles Angels game on Friday, August 9, and Lady A will be after the Phillies game on Friday, September 27.

The Nats have a tough slate ahead of them this summer, but it should be a great time for Nats fans. Whether attending a regular game or the Nats Summer Concert Series, this is going to be one great summer — and of course keep your eyes out for more top prospects to be called up.
