The Washington Nationals had one of those special games where Joey Meneses carried the offense with two home runs, and the bullpen went into shutdown mode.
Before the game, manager Dave Martinez made an announcement that the team was going to deploy a 6-man starting rotation, and utilize Joan Adon as that sixth starter. The issue is that the bullpen will be reduced to seven pitchers.
