The Washington Nationals are back home, and in time to meet-up with Dylan Crews, the Nats’ 1st round pick, in the ballpark. He reportedly has agreed to his deal at around $9 million. Tomorrow could be the game that he is introduced officially to the fans. Crews should head to the Nats’ facility in West Palm Beach on Monday to begin workouts before they send him to a minor league affiliate to start his 2023 abbreviated season.
On the mound for this home opener against the San Francisco Giants is rookie Jake Irvin. The Giants come in to D.C. while competing for a playoff spot.
