We have noon-time exhibition baseball in the nation’s capital today! This will be the Washington Nationals and New York Yankees final warmup before Opening Day on Thursday. Expect some sunshine through the clouds and 51ºF at first pitch at 12:05 pm. Yes, this game will be broadcast on MASN and on the 106.7 The Fan radio.
The Nats will have
Trevor Williams start this game, and the Yankees have a lefty of course with
Nestor Cortes. It is not your imagination that the Nats have seemingly faced lefty starters most of the preseason. It will be no different on Opening Day when the Nats face Braves’ lefty
Max Fried on Thursday.
The Yankees have their full starting lineup going except for
Giancarlo Stanton and the fans will get to see MVP,
Aaron Judge, and ROY hopeful,
Anthony Volpe.
If the Nats don’t make any waiver claims or trades for MLB players, the 26-man roster seems to be set. Here’s our guess at the Opening Day roster:
