This is Patrick Corbins’ final tune-up before Opening Day in five days on regular rest. You would have thought they would have aligned Corbin to get that extra day of rest, and maybe they go easier on him today on his pitch count. The Nats record in Grapefruit League play this year as the 12-11-2 as the Washington Nationals take on the Astros in their shared stadium complex at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches.
Tomorrow is the wrap-up for the Nats in Spring Training in Florida, but keep in mind the Nats do have an exhibition game against the Yankees on Tuesday at Nats Park.
There have not been any roster hints or whether we will see some more roster cuts tomorrow before the team jumps on their charter jet headed to D.C.
Final rosters for the 26-man active Opening Day roster are due on Thursday morning.
