With yesterday’s game rained out, it won’t be replayed. That makes this the 17th game of Spring Training. What’s more, both Patrick Corbin and Josiah Gray pitched on the minor league side of camp. All of that changes up the pitcher for this game. The Nats will hand the ball to Wily Peralta who becomes critical starter’s depth with Cade Cavalli lost for the year to a UCL tear. In other news, Jeimer Candelario, who was playing for Team Dominican Republic, will be on his way back with the Nats tomorrow after the Dominican Republic was eliminated from the WBC. The Nats are dealing with the Cavalli injury, and the Mets suffered a huge injury to their All-Star closer as Edwin Diaz might be lost for all of the regular season with a tear in his patella tendon in his knee. If you did not hear, Diaz tore the knee ligament in a celebration after he recorded the save to knock-out the Dominican Republic in the WBC. Here we are on March 16, and we go another game with no television as the home team. Just one MASN broadcast in the books and we cannot watch this game. Once again we have to rely on photos and random videos after the fact, but we do have Charlie & Dave on the radio call. Here's your colorful lineup for tonight's game. https://t.co/sCZUKQty19
