The Washington Nationals begin a weekend series with the Miami Marlins. They will pitch former Nats’ top prospect Jesus Luzardo.
For the Nats, the team has Josiah Gray on the mound on extra rest. The hope is we see improvement after his work in side sessions.
The Nats will be celebrating both Hispanic Heritage Day and Roberto Clemente Day for tonight’s game. Manger Dave Martinez and his coaches will wear #21 jerseys in honor of Roberto Clemente like they did last year.
