Well, Tyler Clippard is finally back. Unfortunately it is because Tanner Rainey gas a UCL sprain and was put on the 60-day IL. Clippard had not been in a Nats uniform since 2014.
The Washington Nationals fell victim to four home run balls in the first game of the doubleheader and got it close in the end when Juan Soto hit an oppo 3-run bomb to continie his hot streak. Soto’s power streak started when he debuted his new Soto Shuffle iced necklace. Yes, three home runs in four games for Soto.
Erick Fedde is on the mound for this one for the home team.
