Last night, the Washington Nationals were missing two of their big bats in the lineup as Juan Soto was nursing his calf strain, and Nelson Cruz was dealing with a stomach issue. Cruz, the team’s DH, is out again today, and Soto will take his spot at DH.
The Nats’ losing streak is long at six games, and it is no easy task tonight facing one of the Phillies best with Aaron Nola.
The Nats will have Josiah Gray on the mound, and they need a gem from him in this game.
Manager Dave Martinez announced today that Joan Adon will start tomorrow in place of the injured Jackson Tetreault.
