Another week is in the books and what a week it was.
Joey Meneses caught everyone’s attention after going 10-28 (.357) with four home runs. As you can see, he’s now at the top of the leaderboards for a few categories.
Sammy Infante is still at the top after three homers this week, two coming in the same game.
The three lefties who earned a promotion in the past week – Matt Cronin, Ike Schlabach, and Jose Ferrer – are all over the board as well.
Yes, I fibbed a little on the positions, but it’s worth it to get Jake Noll some recognition, and technically he’s listed as a third baseman on milb.com.
The player of the week is Joey Meneses for obvious reasons. The 30-year-old slugger has been great all year and this past week set him apart.
Well, it’s an all Red Wings kind of week, the pitcher of the week is Cade Cavalli for his masterful start. He went seven shutout innings of two-hit ball with six strikeouts and only walked one batter.
