If today’s weather holds up, it is Austin Voth at the FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, and Erick Fedde up the road in Jupiter. It is Voth who gets most of the starters today and manager Dave Martinez in his dugout.
For it would seem that Austin Voth is one of the main contenders looking for his place this Spring. He is without options while Fedde has one remaining. Nothing is a given with this pair and Joe Ross who was supposed to pitch after Max Scherzer last night until heavy rain derailed those plans.
Plans do not comply with Mother Nature. At least Scherzer got his work in. Others will have to be worked in.
