If today was a regular season game, it would be a heavyweight match-up between the starting pitchers. Today’s game matches up Stephen Strasburg and the reigning Cy Young award winner Jacob deGrom who brings the new-look Mets to the FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches for the first time this season. Will we see any of the Mets new players like Robinson Cano?
On Opening Day, the Nationals are scheduled to face Jacob deGrom who was named the Mets’ starting pitcher for the March 28th first game of the season. The Nats will counter with Max Scherzer on Opening Day in early season must-see TV.
A definite bummer for this game is that it is not scheduled to be on the radio or television. We can only hope that the MLB GameDay app is working in real-time.
