On Sunday, the Nationals will once again host their FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches neighbor Houston Astros in a game where Anibal Sanchez and Gerrit Cole will face-off. The Nationals starting pitchers have a 17 inning streak going with no earned runs surrendered, and the starters have only given up 1 earnie the entire Spring Training.
Now that Ryan Zimmerman and Justin Miller made their debuts on Saturday afternoon, all of the Nationals players in big league camp have appeared in games. Zimmerman and Miller were both rusty as you would expect and we are now only 25 games until Opening Day.
In recent Nats rumors, the team is firmly tied to closer Craig Kimbrel in what could be the best bullpen in the National League if Kimbrel was acquired. A Kimbrel acquisition would push the Nats over the salary cap so we will be in wait and see mode on that.
