Game #9 Nats look to Tanner Roark to get back in the W column

The Nats turn to Tanner Roark for his best tonight on the ESPN Sunday Night game of the week against the Mets of New York. For the Mets, they have Matt Harvey on the mound. The Nationals will go with a lefty dominant line-up with three of the first four batters adding Matt Adams at first base and Adam Eaton is back in left field.

Yesterday’s game was full of drama after Anthony Rendon was ejected from the game in the 3rd inning along with his manager Dave Martinez. The national media all came to Rendon’s defense in what seemed to be universally deemed as a poor job of umpiring by homplate ump Marty Foster.

Rendon is back in the starting line-up and Marty Foster will be close-by in the infield. Will there by an apology from Foster? How will Rendon and his Nationals teammates be treated by these umpires tonight given the comments made by Rendon after the game in addition to Trea Turner’s rejection in the first game of this series.

As mentioned, Matt Adams will be at first base tonight in place of Ryan Zimmerman. While this change could just be for one game, the move certainly has raised some eyebrows while others see this as just a move due to Zim’s performance.
