With 25-games remaining in this regular season, the clock is ticking to get back the remaining disabled list players and most notably Bryce Harper, Brian Goodwin, and Koda Glover. Yes, there is still time as we count by calendar days also — but you want them to get real MLB games to compete in. Harper as we commented this morning we were told by a source was going to “jog” this week. Sure enough this afternoon Harper was seen walking steps. That is further proof that his rehab of his bone contusion in his knee is progressing.
Stephen Strasburg is back and returning from a complete game shutout where he stamped his ticket into the Cy Young conversation. It is good news because ESPN made a big deal about AJ Cole pitching Monday night and wrote this article on Sunday that we noted in this Tweet:
@Buster_ESPN @ESPNBaseball who wrote this article? https://t.co/HgbzoEvqw0
Do they realize Strasburg had been scheduled to pitch Tuesday?

The Nationals will face the right-handed Odrisamer Despaigne of the Marlins tonight. The Nats faced him on August 2nd and again on August 7th when he came out of the bullpen in long-relief.
More sourced info, some of the Triple-A players will travel to DC and not Miami to meet the team on Thursday and give them two days off before they are activated.
