The Washington Nationals have another new-look lineup with Howie Kendrick at 2nd base, Jose Lobaton at catcher and AJ Cole was activated to start. Adam Lind will start in left field.

Brandon Kintzler was also added to the active roster and the corresponding moves to make room for Cole and Kintzler were optioning Sammy Solis and Erick Fedde back to Triple-A Syracuse.
Kintzler will wear jersey #21. Also new, Max Scherzer bought a pillow at Target and will see a chiropractor and Gio Gonzalez is still with the team as his wife, Lea,has not gone into labor.
Tomorrow is a scheduled day off. The Nationals have only named Tanner Roark as the Friday starter with no pitchers named as probables for Friday or Saturday.
Jayson Werth finally says he feels ready to run and is pain-free. Werth will begin with hitting live pitching in West Palm Beach.
“Everything’s healed,” Werth said. “It’s just about getting back in shape and progressing. If I was riding lawn mowers for a living, I would’ve been back at work by now.”
