The Nats win another game in dramatic fashion after blowing a one run lead in the 8th and falling behind by a run, tonight it was Michael A. Taylor who hit a 2-run game winner in the bottom of the 8th inning and Matt Albers saves it going 1-2-3.
The Nats split the double-header and win the series behind a gutty performance from Max Scherzer who got hit on the knee early in the game on a comebacker. One inning after getting smacked on the knee and knocked to the ground, Scherzer threw the rare 9 strike, 3 strikeout, immaculate inning. Scherzer once again proves he is super-human.
The Nats also got impeccable defense from Ryan Zimmerman, Trea Turner and Anthony Rendon.
Besides Taylor, there was also Bryce Harper, Jose Lobaton, and Brian Goodwin who all had key hits in the game.
