“You got to have a skipper that can lead and he has done that since day 1 of Spring Training,” Jayson Werth said about his manager Dusty Baker. “He’s doing that here still today. I think he is the guy to get us to where we need to be.”
“Everybody’s been pulling on the same rope,” Bryce Harper said. “It’s such a great group. It’s the first step of where we want to go. We have a great mix of young guys. We have a great group of veteran guys. Being able to come in here and be the family that we are…it started on Day 1. It started in Spring Training now and we are going to keep plugging along and try to get that ring.”
