Game #20 Gio Gonzalez pitches tonight, Belisle to DL, Solis recalled: Game Thread

Matt Belisle will be placed on the 15 day DL with a calf strain, and the Nationals recall lefty Sammy Solis from Triple-A Syracuse.

Gio Gonzalez and righty Jeremy Hellickson face-off in the 2nd game of this 3 game series in tonight’s 7:05pm start.

The Nationals will look to bounce back from a loss where the difference was the 2 runs given up in the 1st inning. The last time the Nats faced Jeremy Hellickson was on April 15th in game #9, and the Nats won 8-1 behind Joe Ross.
