From Spring Training we have photos from Gerry Gleckel in Nats camp in Viera Florida.
Tomorrow begins the first workouts for pitchers and catchers as the pitchers will be lined up side-by-side on these mounds.
The catchers will be lined up side-by-side behind these homeplates. Wilson Ramos, Jose Lobaton, Spencer Kieboom, Pedro Severino, Jhonatan Solano and even bullpen catcher Sam Palace will be called upon to catch.
Anthony Rendon was taking batting practice with Michael Taylor and Clint Robinson.
Anthony Rendon with the bat flip!
Tony 2-Bags even had enough time to sign some autographs
Again, many thanks to Gerry Gleckel for these wonderful exclusive photos for TalkNats.
At the Hot Stove event, the Valerie Camillo talked about the Nats hosting tailgate type events for groups. AllstarSportsMarketing checked into the details. If we have 75 attendees the cost is $91/person (which includes a flat fee of $200 and a 20% service charge) including a lower bowl ticket, beer, wine and food. See his comment below for more details and discussion. For now we just want to do a quick poll to see how much interest there is in doing a tailgate. If there is enough interest we will do some follow-up posts to get a date, and for folks to sign up.
