Most players keep milestone baseballs and bats and other mementos from key moments. Trea Turner has already compiled his 1st hit, 1st stolen base, and 1st HR quickly in his career and is filling his trophy shelf quickly. Recall that Ryan Zimmerman who debuted in 2005 had to wait for that 1st HR baseball until 2006.
Trea Turner also hit his 1st HR at Turner Field which we understand is the 1st time a player hit his 1st HR in a park he shares a name with. We checked to see where Justin Turner hit his 1st HR and it was in Minute Maid Park in Houston. Justin Turner hit his 1st Turner Field HR 2 months ago for his only one.
Trea Turner had 2 hits today and a walk and continues to boost his stats in all categories. His HR tied the game at 1-1 and the Braves announcers as usual couldn’t help themselves with this comment:
#Braves' announcer on celebration of Trea Turner's 1st HR: "For a moment I thought there was another National getting mugged in the dugout."

Here’s a video of the HR: TREA TURNER’S 1ST HR & THE BASEBALL IS QUICKLY RETRIEVED!
Trea’s teammates had some fun with him after his 1st HR:

In case you didn’t see this, Trea didn’t get his 1st stolen base (the actual base) which happened in St. Louis on 9/1/2015 and the Cardinals held the bases for sale because they won on a walk-off HR and the bases were highly collectible. I called a buddy I know in St. Louis to see if he could get the 2nd base for me that Trea stole his base on, which he did and I posted up pictures on Twitter. Trea’s dad reached out to me and wanted the base for Trea. Last Friday I met up on the field with Trea to present him with the base and much to my surprise he presented me with one of his game used fielding gloves. Here’s the video:
Trea Turner continues to add to his own highlight reel in all facets of the game and shows that his tools include some power also!
